Dr Maya Lloyd
Dr Maya Lloyd (M Clin Psych, PhD, FCCP, MAPS) is a clinical psychologist with almost 20 years’ experience working with children, adolescents, adults and families across both the public and private sectors.
Maya works with adults experiencing a range of difficulties including anxiety, depression, grief and loss issues, chronic health issues, adjustment difficulties, transitional life changes, stress, and family difficulties along with general health and well-being concerns. Maya enjoys helping people find purpose and direction in life, and strives to help people find peace and a sense of contentment with their lives.
As a senior psychologist with Qld Health for 10 years Maya worked across a broad range of areas including perinatal and infant mental health, child and youth mental health and family therapy. In the perinatal and infant mental health field Maya supported the relationship between a parent and baby. This included treating parents with antenatal or postnatal depression and anxiety and providing parenting support and bonding/attachment between parents with babies. Maya also has extensive experience with children and adolescents experiencing, anxiety, depression, grief and loss, self-harm and suicidal ideation, parent-child relationship difficulties, parental separation and blended families. As an experienced family therapist Maya is accustomed to working with families at different stages of life.
Maya practices a range of therapies which are tailored to suit the individual, including Cognitive Behaviour Therapy, Acceptance Commitment Therapy, Family Therapy, Triple P and Circle of Security. Maya is also an endorsed supervisor and is accredited to supervise clinical registrars and those completing postgraduate psychology qualifications.
Maya is available Mondays, Tuesdays and Fridays. Both face-to-face sessions and telehealth sessions are available.

Donna Rose
Donna is a psychologist with over 20 years experience working in perinatal and early childhood psychological health. She has a particular interest in the transition to parenthood and the development of the emotional ties that link parent and childhood wellbeing. She is therefore, deeply committed to working with clients to promote (prospective) parents’ confidence in their own parenting voice, strengthen parent-child relationships and helping families find their unique way to wellbeing and thriving.
Donna has extensive experience delivering psychological care to rural and remote communities and particularly welcomes families from the big heart of Queensland.
Donna consults at Brisbane Family Psychology on a Thursday and at other times by Telehealth.
